We are united by our desire to empower youth to activate physical spaces in their communities.

Our backgrounds span many disciplines, including architecture, planning, education, art, design, community engagement, civic technology, advocacy, and placemaking. While our experiences and expertise are diverse, we are united by our passion for improving the built environment and empowering young people.

Our team has been working together for the past year as Forefront Fellows with UDF and in partnership with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and NYC Public Schools, where we have collaborated with our cohort of 30 emerging professionals and hundreds of stakeholders in NYC, ranging from public schools to design firms to community organizations, exploring how the urban environment of NYC can foster health, well-being, sustainability, and growth for young people.
